Is there a limit on the number of users with the SpamGaj Mail Appliance or is it only a performance recommendation?
There is no software or hardware limit on the number of users. SpamGaj Mail Appliance come with unlimited users and the amount of email that can be serviced varies with each model.

Is there a per user or per domain licensing fees with SpamGaj Mail Appliance?
There are no per user or per domain licensing fees with SpamGaj Mail Appliance. This allows your organization to expand without additional cost.

Should I purchase Up2Date Service?
SpamGaj Up2Date service subscription provides the latest Spam Fingerprints and virus updates which provides ongoing protection to networks. We strongly recommend to buy/ renew the SpamGaj Up2Date service.

Is there an extra charge for virus blocking capabilities?
Yes, there is extra charge for virus blocking capabilities but it is very competitively priced. It has been seen that the Total Cost of Ownership is lesser than other competing products.

How current are your spam and virus definitions?
SpamGaj automatically updates Spam Fingerprints and virus definitions via the Up2Date service.

Is there a warranty in SpamGaj Mail Appliance?
There is a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects in the India.

How long have you been in business?
GajShield was launched 2001 and began shipping Integrated Security Appliances in 2002.GajShield has emerged to be a leading security company in India. SpamGaj was launched in April 2003.

Will I get false positives?
Our false positive rate is one of the lowest in the industry as we using multi-layered Spam filtering techniques.

What happens to quarantined email?
Quarantined email is kept in the Quarantine Folder. Complete Email messages, other than the viruses, are stored and can be retrieved should the need arise.

What is the basic difference between the Administrator Quarantine setting, and the Per User Quarantine setting?
The Administrator Quarantine setting allows the administrator to view/delete/release emails that has been quarantined. The Per User Quarantine setting will set up a quarantine folder for each user on the SpamGaj Server. Every user can view/delete/release emails in their respective Quarantine folder.

How does the administrator manage SpamGaj?
SpamGaj Server has a web-based interface for ease of use.
